There is so much to learn, see, create, explore, and write about in this God-given world. Sometimes the writer in me expresses the things remembered, pondered, and imagined. Join me in those moments by subscribing to my blog.

Hi there,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m Jesmyn Ward, and I recently came across your work and felt compelled to reach out and introduce myself.
One of the things I’ve always enjoyed most about being a writer is discovering the person and journey behind the books. Every author has a different path, different experiences, inspirations, creative habits, and reasons for telling the stories they choose to tell. I find those journeys just as fascinating as the books themselves.
I’d genuinely love to hear a little about your writing journey. What have you been working on recently? Have you published anything you’re particularly proud of, or was there a specific moment or experience that first inspired you to become a writer?
I’m always happy to exchange thoughts about books, characters, writing routines, publishing, and even the unexpected challenges and joys that come with being an author. There’s no particular agenda behind my message, I simply enjoy connecting with fellow writers, learning about their journeys, and building genuine relationships within the writing community.
Whenever you have a moment, I’d love to hear from you.
Warmly,
Jesmyn Ward
